For the last day and half it hasn’t stopped s
nowing! Everything in Lincoln has shut down even the schools and the University. A foot of snow has fallen, now you are all probably thinking why are 2 Wyoming grown kids shocked by this weather?? This city is paralyzed by that much snow, it stopped snowing this morning and we are still stuck at home because none of the side streets are clear and not to mention its FREEZING! The wind chill is -15 right now yuck. The wind is crazy out here and has drifted the snow like crazy. Matt has been home from school for 1 1/2 days because the university closed down and its his finals week-so he gets some extra study time 
. I unfortunately had to work the past few nights, nurses don’t get snow days 
. It took awhile to get to and from work but I made it! Some nurses had to stay at the hospital in empty patient rooms because it was too dangerous to drive home and they had to work the next day. Driving home from work this morning I saw several people getting stuck and was so impressed because the minute someone was stuck some stranger immediately stopped to assist-gotta love that midwestern kindness! The snow is beautiful though and has made us feel like we are at home again! And it finally feels like Christmas! We hope all of you are doing well!
I really like that last picture. I do not envy you guys the huge snow dumping you had. It has been pretty mild here so far *knock on wood*. You guys actually got the storm we were supposed to get. You can have it.
That’s pretty sad that snow like that paralyzes the city. Are they not used to so much snow? I thought it was normal for Nebraska. Shows what I know. At least you aren’t in California where they were backed up for miles because of a little bit of ice on the roads which they had to close. Crazy stuff!
